Powerhouse guitar riffs coupled with heavy slap bass and growling vocals give Amsterdam act Asmodeus a sound that borrows from several generations of punk, metal and country. For more than a decade Asmodeus has been injecting the world psychobilly scene with heavy doses of metal-tinged splatter rock. With three full-length albums and numerous compilation tracks under their belt, Asmodeus has also earned a solid reputation for dynamic live performances. Regularly gigging throughout Europe for more than a decade, Asmodeus recently made it to American shores for the first time to play a date on the Wreckers Ball 2 festival in California along with a series of Texas dates.
The PSYCHOBILLY*US label in conjunction with HairBall8 Records is proud to release Asmodeus’ third album, “Diabolique Royal”, for the first time in America. Expect this album to be available in at a domestic price in the U.S. in May, 2005 with some American gigs from Asmodeus around the same time period.
